Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Climate Change

Nour F. Attia is a professor in the Gas Analysis and Fire Safety Laboratory of the Chemistry Department at the Egyptian National Metrology Institute (the only institution in Egypt representing the country in the International Bureau of Weights and Measures). He is a renowned scholar in the fields of international nanomaterials, hydrogen storage materials, and material flame retardancy. In 2020, he received the International Obada Award, in 2020 he was awarded the First-Class Merit Medal of the President of the Republic, in 2022 he received the "Best Application Research Article Award for Climate Change Mitigation" from Mansoura University, and from 2021 to 2024 he was continuously ranked as one of the "Top 2% Scientists" by Stanford University. Currently, he is a member of the National Committee for New Materials and Advanced Materials. He previously served as a member of the Egyptian Young Academy of Sciences (EYAS) (2021-2024), and is the principal investigator of several research projects funded by the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) and the Science and Technology Development Fund (STDF). He plays a significant role in the fields of energy, environment, and material safety in Egypt. He has published over 100 papers in SCI/SSCI-indexed journals, has applied for 10 patents (with 2 international patents already approved), and has authored 4 books.
Research fields: international nanomaterials, hydrogen storage materials, and material flame retardancy; energy, environment, and material safety.

Prof., Muazzam Ali Khan Khattak

Prof. Dr. Muazzam Ali Khan Khattak (SM IEEE, AAAI, PAS, AIR Net) is currently serving as a Member of the NADRA Authority Board and has been listed among the top 2% most highly cited scientists worldwide in 2024 and 2025. He is the recipient of Gold Medals from the Pakistan Academy of Sciences-COMSTECH, QAU Best Research award and Gold Medal from the IEEE Islamabad Section. At present, he is Director of the Farab Center for Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security, Director of the ICESCO Chair in Data Analytics and Edge Computing and Director of Science & Technology at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. He is also chairperson of UNESCO National IFAP Committee. Earlier, he served as Associate Dean of Computing and Head of the Postgraduate Program at SEECS, NUST. He completed his PhD through a sandwich program between IIUI and the University of Missouri, (UMKC), USA, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at University of Missouri, USA. Later he joined UMKC as an adjunct professor. Prof. Khattak has authored 03 books and 16 book chapters with leading international publishers, in addition to more than 245 articles in reputed international journals and conferences. His work has earned him recognition as one of the world’s highly cited scientists, with over 7600 citations and an h-index of 46. He is also an elected member of Turkish Academy of Science and Technology (TUBA). His research focuses on Artificial Intelligence based smart solutions for Internet of Things, Internet of Vehicles, Smart Cities, and Information Security. He also holds adjunct professorships at the University of Missouri (USA), Texas American Muslim Universities (USA), Harbin Institute of Technology (China), USAK University (Türkiye), BAKU State University (Azerbaijan), and Margullan University (Kazakhstan).

Dr. T. Velmurugan is working as an Associate Professor and Head, PG and Research Department of Computer Science, Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College, Chennai-600106, India. He elected as a Member-Syndicate, University of Madras. He holds Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Madras. He has 32 years of teaching experience. He guided more than 300 M.Phil. Research Scholars. Also, he guided 29 Ph.D. scholars and currently guiding 2 Ph.D. scholars. He has published more than 250 articles in SCOPUS and SCI indexed journals. Also, he elected and served as a Senate Member from Academic Council, University of Madras. He has a lot of administrative experiences. He served as advisory board member to many academic institutions in and around Tamil Nadu, India. He was an invited speaker and keynote speaker for many international conferences around the world. He served as a nominated Senate Member in the Middle East University, Dubai, UAE for a period of three years. He is a member in Board of studies for many autonomous institutions and Universities. Also, he organized international Conferences and workshops. In addition, he was a resource person for various national workshops entitled "Scientific Research Article Writing and Journal Publications" and many of the recent topics in Computer Science. He is an Editorial Board Member of 11 International Journals. He also a reviewer in many peer reviewed journals like Elsevier, Springer, IEEE and IOS Press Journals etc. He is the Chair person for the Government of Tamil Nadu State for XII standard book titled as “Electronics and Hardwares”. Further, he is a visiting faculty for M.Phil., Course for various universities throughout India. His H index is 23 and i10 index is 35. His area of specialization includes Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Network Security, Big Data Analytics, Data Science and etc.

Prof., Maode Ma

Prof. Maode Ma, a Fellow of IET, received his Ph. D degree from the Department of Computer Science at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 1999. Prof. Ma is a Full Professor in the Faculty of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology. Before joining SUAT, he had been a faculty member at Nanyang Technological University and Qatar University for about 25 years. Prof. Ma has extensive research interests, including network security, AI security, and wireless networking. He has led 26 research projects funded by the government, industry, military, and universities in various countries. He has supervised 25 research students to get their Ph.D degrees. He has been a conference chair, technical symposium chair, tutorial chair, publication chair, publicity chair, and session chair for over 100 international conferences. He has been a member of the technical program committees for more than 300 international conferences. He has delivered over 120 keynote speeches and 12 tutorials at various international conferences. Prof. Ma has published about 550 peer-reviewed international academic journal and conference papers. He has edited a few technical books and produced 28 book chapters. His publication has received over 13000 citations by Google Scholar. Prof. Ma serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Communication and Network Security, the International Journal of Computer and Communication Engineering, and the Journal of Communications. He also serves as a Senior Editor for IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials and an Associate Editor for the International Journal of Communication Systems. Prof. Ma is a senior member of the IEEE Communication Society and a member of the ACM. He has been a Distinguished Lecturer for the IEEE Communication Society from 2013 to 2016 and from 2023 to 2024.

Dr. Simon K.S. Cheung

Dr. Simon K.S. Cheung obtained his BSc and PhD, both in Computer Science, from the City University of Hong Kong, and his Master of Public Administration with Distinction from the University of Hong Kong. He also received executive education from Oxford's Saïd Business School and Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. A Chartered Engineer as well as a Chartered Scientist by profession, he was admitted as a Chartered IT Professional Fellow of the British Computer Society, Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications, Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, Fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, and Fellow of the Hong Kong Computer Society. Dr. Cheung is currently the Chief Information Officer of the Hong Kong Metropolitan University, overseeing the university IT services for teaching, learning, research and administration. He has been working in the higher education sector (with the Hong Kong Metropolitan University, the University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Baptist University, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong) for 36 years in various administrative capacities, mainly in IT and educational technology, while also undertaking academic duties such as teaching, research, course development and programme accreditation. He successfully led the implementation of key projects pertaining to enterprise systems, process reengineering, campus IT infrastructure, electronic library, blended learning, educational big data, learning analytics, and advising. Dr. Cheung is active in research, with 1 research monograph, 36 edited books and over 200 refereed journal articles, book chapters and conference papers in two distinct areas, namely, educational information technology, and software and systems engineering.
